About the company
SIXT is a global mobility service provider headquartered in Pullach, Germany, offering car rental, car sharing, and chauffeur services across more than 110 countries. With a fleet of over 270,000 vehicles and a strong focus on premium customer experience, SIXT has grown from a small family business into one of the world's leading mobility brands, competing directly with the likes of Hertz and Avis.
In Spain, SIXT operates a significant network of rental stations and offices, with a particularly strong presence in the Balearic Islands, Catalonia, and the Canary Islands. The company is known for its premium service culture, German efficiency, and a multilingual work environment where German, English, and Spanish are commonly spoken, making it an attractive option for international professionals seeking a dynamic, customer-facing role in the Spanish mobility sector.
For International Professionals
- SIXT's global HQ is in Pullach, Germany, but its Spanish operations are managed from Palma de Mallorca, with offices in Barcelona, Madrid, and the Canary Islands.
- The company explicitly hires for bilingual roles (German, English, and Spanish), and many open roles in Spain are advertised as 'Bilingual (German, English & Spanish)', which suits international candidates.
- SIXT offers structured development programs (e.g., 'Programa de Desarrollo - Responsable de Oficina') for office management roles in Spain.
- Roles in Spain include rental sales agents, digital coordinators, and customer support agents, often with a mix of office and airport-based work.
- SIXT is a premium mobility brand, so the work environment emphasizes high-end customer service and a polished, international corporate culture.
