About the role

The Big Data and Advanced Analytics Manager will be responsible for implementing artificial intelligence initiatives (predictive AI, generative AI, agentic AI, and future types of AI that may appear on the market) across different areas of the company, aligned with the company's strategy and helping to achieve business objectives, working cross-functionally with all company teams (different businesses - customers, distribution, operations, etc. -, technology, transformation/AI Office, etc.)

What you'll do

  • Evaluate and participate in the design of the solutions developed by the team and provide technical and planning follow-up for each of the projects
  • Oversee the development, training, and deployment of AI models. Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented solutions, ensuring the proper functioning and control of BAU
  • Manage budgets and resources associated with each of the projects
  • Ensure quality, ethics, and regulatory compliance in AI projects
  • Develop working methodologies within the team that ensure the quality of the projects developed and monitor the corresponding associated KPIs.
  • Collaborate with business areas to identify opportunities for innovation and optimization through AI
  • Establish and manage relationships with the AXA Group

Education & certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or similar.

Experience

  • More than 5 years leading technical teams and managing AI projects.
  • Team leadership (Data Scientists).

Technical knowledge

  • AI technologies and tools (predictive, generative, and agentic AI).
  • Azure, Databricks, Python, Spark, SQL, and Scala (desirable).
  • Knowledge of MLOps and PMP project management.
  • Insurance sector and ethical and regulatory aspects related to AI.

Skills and competencies
