We are looking for an Electrical Planner/Supervisor (with experience in plant shutdowns) to join a shutdown project at a petrochemical plant in Tarragona. This is a position initially planned for one year, involving participation in the planning and preparation of a plant shutdown scheduled for 2027, with the possibility of extension.

What you'll do

  • Support for electrical work planning in the shutdown team: defining the scope of work, materials and execution sequences, specifications and cost estimation. Consolidation of Job Packages.
  • Integration in sequence of all affected trades (mechanical, scaffolding, inspection, instrumentation…).
  • Supervising electrical work on site during the shutdowns.
  • Contacting electrical suppliers.
  • Evaluating and prioritizing electrical work based on work orders, materials, resources, etc.
  • Acting as a link between the Shutdown team and the electrical workshop.
  • Managing the necessary documentation for the different work orders.

  • Previous experience as an Electrical Supervisor and/or Planner.

How you'll work

  • Project with an initial duration of 1 year, with the possibility of extension.
  • Position 100% on-site.
  • Usual working hours in the morning shift outside the shutdown window.
  • During the execution of the shutdown, shift work, including weekends and holidays, respecting the rest periods established by current regulations.

Essential requirements

  • Training as an Advanced Technician in Electrical Systems, Advanced Technician in Electronics or related Technical Engineering.
  • Basic knowledge of English (reading, writing and verbal communication).
  • Demonstrated experience in electrical planning and/or supervision in the preparation of shutdowns, maintenance or engineering/construction projects, preferably in the petrochemical industry.
  • Practical knowledge and experience in electricity: low voltage, high voltage, preventive and corrective electrical maintenance, interpretation of electrical layouts and designs.
  • Experience in related tasks: defining electrical scope, preparing materials and execution sequences, estimating costs, contacting electrical suppliers, supervising field work.
  • Proficient use of IT tools and MS Office (Excel and Word).
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Strong safety culture – Zero Incidents.
  • Responsibility, commitment, proactivity and ability to resolve incidents.
