About the role

We are looking for a Cisco SD-WAN Engineer to join us on a telecommunications project, working remotely from Spain.

You will be part of a team working on international projects, designing services and solutions and resolving N3 incidents.

What you'll do

  • Design and definition of network solutions based on Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) technologies, adapted to client requirements.
  • Preparation of technical documentation and configuration templates, ensuring deployment standardization.
  • Equipment qualification and validation of new features in complex network environments.
  • Implementation and deployment of Low Level Design (LLD) solutions in communications infrastructures.
  • Collaboration with technical teams and clients in decision-making, incident resolution, and network architecture evolution.

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience in a similar role.
  • More than 5 years of experience in networking and at least 2 years working with Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela).
  • Advanced knowledge of routing and network technologies: BGP, MP-BGP, OSPF, ISIS, RIP, MPLS L2/L3 VPN, QoS, and managed LAN/WLAN.
  • Experience with Cisco IOS/IOS-XR/IOS-XE platforms, with knowledge of Juniper JunOS (MX and SRX) environments being a plus.
  • B2-C1 level of English, with the ability to maintain technical discussions with international clients.
