What will be your role?

We are looking for a person to fill the position of Electromechanical Design Engineer, to participate in railway sector projects within the Power division. You will be part of the development of auxiliary traction converters, collaborating on the mechanical design of highly technologically complex equipment and contributing to the creation of innovative solutions for sustainable mobility.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Design and develop mechanical solutions for auxiliary railway traction converters.
  • Perform 3D modeling and generate manufacturing drawings using Solid Edge.
  • Design cabinets and mechanical enclosures adapted to functional and manufacturing requirements.
  • Develop designs based on folded sheet metal, riveted and welded structures.
  • Collaborate with electrical and multidisciplinary teams to ensure proper equipment integration.
  • Prepare and update technical documentation associated with the product.
  • Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement activities.
  • Ensure compliance with technical, quality, and manufacturing standards established for each project.

Your profile

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar.
  • Experience in the mechanical design of industrial equipment or power electronics.
  • Proficiency in Solid Edge for 3D design and technical documentation generation.
  • Electrical knowledge enabling proper mechanical integration of electromechanical equipment.
  • Experience in designing cabinets and metallic structures.
  • Knowledge and experience with folded sheet metal, riveting, and welding.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and product requirements.
  • Experience in preparing manufacturing drawings and technical documentation.
  • Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
