What will your job consist of?

You will join the Manufacturing Engineering area at our Las Matas facility, becoming part of the team responsible for the industrial processes associated with the wheelsets of our trains.

Your mission will be to define, implement, and optimize the manufacturing and assembly processes for the wheelset area, ensuring the industrialization of new products with the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

To achieve this, you will carry out functions such as:

  • Participating in the industrialization of new products, collaborating with Engineering to ensure their feasibility and series production.
  • Defining and implementing manufacturing and assembly processes related to bogies, bearings, axle press-fitting, and other wheelset systems, ensuring their validation and continuous improvement.
  • Preparing the necessary technical documentation for production, including work instructions, manufacturing drawings, process records, and operational standards.
  • Identifying and specifying the required tools, fixtures, and production resources, coordinating their development with the relevant departments.
  • Training and supporting production teams in the implementation of new processes, technologies, and working methods, collaborating closely with different departments.

What we are looking for in you

  • A university degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in serial manufacturing environments, participating in the definition, implementation, and validation of mechanical assembly production processes.
  • Solid knowledge of railway wheelset technology is valued: bogies, bearings, axle press-fitting, threaded joints, fittings, tightening torques, and hydraulic/pneumatic installations.
  • Minimum English level B2.
  • Proficiency with industrial tools and systems. Experience with NX, Teamcenter, SAP, Poka-Yoke systems, and production layout design will be valued.
  • Availability for occasional travel nationally and internationally.
