ACCIONA, within its Construction business line, is looking to hire a Track Electrification Specialist to work in its Specialized Systems business unit, based in Madrid.
Responsible for the definition, validation, and integration of the electrification system in railway projects, at every phase of the project, both during the bidding phase and the execution phase.
Your activity must have an impact on all stages of the project, starting in the pre-design phase, with the definition and coordination of the different supplier companies and the required design firm, as well as the verification of design requirements and interfaces.
Technical Management and Interface Coordination
Definition of scopes and sizing applicable to the track electrification system.
Technical coordination of subcontractor design firms for the track electrification scope, supervision of the design produced by them, and assurance of its correct integration with the rest of the subsystems and with the railway infrastructure.
Definition and delimitation of interfaces with the rest of the subsystems and civil infrastructure.
Support in the development of the project Interface Matrix.
Technical resolution of interface issues between systems. Approval of technical integration solutions according to functional requirements, technical specifications of the works, and site conditions.
Development of value engineering to optimize technical solutions.
Supervision of Regulatory, Technical, and Contractual Compliance
Verification of compliance with local and international technical standards and contractual requirements.
Verification of the technical specifications of the equipment proposed by suppliers, as required for their integration into the works.
Review of contracts associated with the scope.
Risk Management and Problem Solving
Identification of risks during the bidding and execution phases, proposing mitigation strategies.
Technical resolution of interface issues with other subsystems.
Approval of technical integration solutions according to functional requirements, technical specifications of the works, and site conditions.
Testing and Systems Validation Management
Support in the development of the systems testing plan and the integration testing plan.
Strategy Optimization and Continuous Improvement
Advisory support to the teams during the bidding processes.
Participation in continuous improvement workshops and company programs, contributing ideas and suggestions for process improvement.
Technical approval of the guidelines for the development of the track electrification system, at all phases of the project, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Railway Energy Systems, Power Distribution Systems, Flexible Catenary, Rigid Catenary.
