Senior Consultant in Architecture or Maritime Engineering

At Izertis, we are looking to expand our team with the incorporation of a Senior Consultant in Architecture or Maritime Engineering to join one of our most important public sector clients.

What will your duties be?

• Technical assistance in monitoring engineering activities, procurement, construction, and testing in the platform area.
• Technical assistance in reviewing programmatic, technical, logistical, and testing documentation.
• Technical advice on activities derived from tasks established by the DGAM, such as monitoring commissions, working groups, technical design reviews, program progress conferences, among others.
• Technical assistance in reviewing risks associated with the program.

What do we look for in you?

• Degree or equivalent in Naval Architecture or Maritime Engineering.
• At least 4 years of experience in managing, developing projects related to planning, analyzing solutions, managing, and monitoring milestones of naval projects.
• At least 1 year of experience working in naval construction or repair and testing carried out in shipyards.
• At least 1 year of experience in inspection and certification activities, specifically in technical activities carried out in ship classification societies.
• At least 1 year of experience in military naval engineering projects.
• Proven and verifiable experience in the advanced use of office tools and project management.
• Proven and verifiable experience in Systems Engineering: fundamental principles, regulations, and methodology.
• English knowledge: Minimum level B2. According to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) (DELE, BULATS).
• At least one of the certifications in project management with classical or agile methodologies PMP, PRINCE2, PM2, SCRUM or OpenPM.

The work will be carried out in person at the client's offices in Madrid.
