We are looking for someone to join our Finance team; your mission will be to ensure maximum efficiency, conversion, and security in the incoming revenue flow (PayIns) of Civitatis globally. You will be the strategic owner of the payment experience at checkout, the optimization of transactional and FX costs, and the implementation of advanced fraud mitigation policies.

What will your day-to-day look like?

  • Conversion and Checkout (Pay-Ins): Lead the global payment methods strategy, optimizing the Acceptance Rate (TASA) through smart routing, acquiring cascade, and the integration of local solutions to support our international expansion.

  • Anti-Fraud and Risk Strategy: Define and implement the fraud prevention model (rules, scoring, 3DS, machine learning) and manage chargebacks, ensuring the perfect balance between security and a smooth user experience.

  • Partner and Cost Management: Negotiate terms, pricing, and SLAs with PSPs, acquirers, and FinTech providers, optimizing the commission structure and multi-currency (FX) operations.

  • Analytics and Data-Driven Decisions: Develop and monitor the transactional dashboard (TASA, cost per transaction, fraud, declines, risk profiles) to turn data into strategic business decisions.

  • Leadership and Cross-Functional Coordination: Guide the Pay-Ins & Fraud team and drive the payments roadmap cross-functionally with the Product, Tech, Data, Operations, and Finance teams.

What are we looking for?

  • University degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Business Administration, or Economics.

  • More than 4 years of experience in payments and/or fraud roles within e-commerce, fintech, or high-transaction-volume businesses.

  • Deep knowledge of acquiring, PSPs, anti-fraud engines, card schemes, 3DS2 rules, and multi-currency (FX) processing.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL (or similar tools); programming knowledge (Python, R, or equivalent) at an analytical level will be valued.

  • Ability to lead technical and operational teams in data-driven environments.

  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
