What are we looking for?

A Functional Analyst for Banking with experience, particularly in the asset area (loans, credits, mortgages, amortizations, risks), and with a technical background in host environments.
We are looking for a customer-oriented person, with analytical skills and accustomed to working in distributed teams.

Main responsibilities

• Act as a bridge between the banking business and technical teams, translating functional needs into clear and viable solutions.
• Analyze functional requirements for the asset area and define functional and technical specifications for developments in the host environment.
• Document processes, business rules, and functional flows of the banking core.
• Coordinate and support development teams, ensuring the correct implementation of solutions.
• Participate in the functional design of complex components and in the validation of tests (unit, integration, and UAT).
• Interact with business users to understand needs, identify improvements, and propose optimizations.
• Ensure functional quality and compliance with internal standards.

• Previous experience in host environments and programming in COBOL or PL/1.
• Solid knowledge of DB2 and mainframe architecture.
• Experience in the banking sector, ideally in the asset area (loans, credits, mortgages, risks).

• Valuable experience in multi-country projects or with large financial institutions.

¿Qué buscamos?

Un/a Analista Funcional de Banca con experiencia especialmente en el área de activo (préstamos, créditos, hipotecas, amortizaciones, riesgos), y con background técnico en entornos host.
Buscamos una persona orientada al cliente, con capacidad analítica y acostumbrada a trabajar en equipos distribuidos.

Responsabilidades principales

• Actuar como enlace entre negocio bancario y equipos técnicos, traduciendo necesidades funcionales en soluciones claras y viables.
• Analizar requerimientos funcionales del área de activo y definir especificaciones funcionales y técnicas para desarrollos en entorno host.
• Documentar procesos, reglas de negocio y flujos funcionales del core bancario.
• Coordinar y dar soporte a equipos de desarrollo, asegurando la correcta implementación de las soluciones.
• Participar en el diseño funcional de componentes complejos y en la validación de pruebas (unitarias, integración y UAT).
• Interactuar con usuarios de negocio para entender necesidades, detectar mejoras y proponer optimizaciones.
• Asegurar la calidad funcional y el cumplimiento de estándares internos.
