What we're looking for
What you Bring to Safran:
- BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information or related field
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a similar role
- Experience with Python, Robot Framework, etc.
- Comfortable using Linux development environments and scripting languages such as Bash.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and written.
- Ability to collaborate with in person and remote teams.
- Ability to have fun!
Nice to have
- Bonus points for knowledge of embedded software testing!
The role
We are looking for a Software Test Engineer to join our growing team in Granada!
As a Software Automation Test Engineer, you will primarily be working on ourâ¯Timing Productsâ¯and ourâ¯GNSS Simulation Products. You'll be using your software test automation expertise designing and maintaining automated tests that will assist in ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction all the while working in a fun highly collaborative global environment. The position is in Granada, Spain.
What you'll do
What you'll be doing:
- Working closely with other Software Test Engineers and Software Developers designing both automated and manual test on the latest GPS-based and alternative PNT equipment and software
- Testing new products, new features and software releases to ensure our products meet the highest standards and specifications.
- Developing with testing tools such as Robot Framework & Selenium using Python
- Support the integration and triage of CI/CD scripts using Jenkins.
- Working cross-functionally with product-owners to understand their needs to develop tests to resolve their problems.
- Create and maintain traceability between test cases and requirements.
- Participating in daily SCRUM/Kanban meetings
- Contributing to process improvement initiatives
- Working in a multi-discipline, multi-cultural environmental with cross-functional teams toward common goals
