About the role

The Asset Risk Management area is part of the global Operation and Maintenance (O&M) unit and acts as a technical reference for the insurance function in everything related to the group's electricity generation assets. We work closely with the local Industrial Risk units in different countries, as well as with the corporate Insurance area, which is responsible for direct liaison with insurers and adjusters. Our work focuses on providing technical and operational support to that area in three key areas: policy renewal, claims management, and loss prevention, ensuring adequate protection and continuity of the group's assets.

What you'll do

The intern will provide support in tasks related to insurable risk management at electricity generation facilities. Their activities will include: collecting and updating technical and economic information for the annual renewal of policies (insured values, coverages, etc.); collaborating in claims monitoring from an O&M perspective, facilitating the documentation required by the corporate insurance area; and supporting the coordination of the prevention program, including the preparation and follow-up of technical visits conducted by the broker and the monitoring of recommendations. They may also participate in preparing internal reports, analyzing risk indicators, and interacting with local Industrial Risk teams in different countries.

Education & certifications

  • Basic knowledge of electricity generation technologies (solar, wind, hydroelectric, thermal, battery storage, etc.)

Endesa scholarships have a duration of 9 months. They consist of two parts: Practical Training within the Company and Academic Training.

The Practical Training at the company will consist of a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, a rest period of 22 working days per year, and a study allowance of €900 gross. In parallel, the Academic Training will take place: Master's Degree in Organizational Management, Key Competencies, and Data Analytics, from Camilo José Cela University (120 ECTS), in an online format, whose main objective is learning and improving the competency profile.
