Maintenance & Engineering Manager – Logistics Center (SFB)

Lead maintenance and engineering projects in a regulated pharmaceutical environment, ensuring maximum availability, reliability, and efficiency of facilities. The person will act as a technical reference, ensuring compliance with pharma and chemical industry standards (including FDA and GxP), driving sustainability, energy efficiency, and proper integration between corporate OT and IT systems.

• Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities at the logistics center, ensuring the reliability of facilities, equipment, HVAC systems, and critical utilities.
• Manage the maintenance budget, optimizing resources and structural costs.
• Coordinate and develop the in-house maintenance team (nomenclature to be validated: technicians or operators).
• Act as the technical reference for the site, driving technological evolution and infrastructure improvements.
• Lead engineering and automation projects, proposing improvements focused on efficiency and availability.
• Participate in the definition, execution, and financial tracking of CAPEX and OPEX projects.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards specific to the pharma environment.
• Actively participate in internal and external audits, ensuring documentation, traceability, and compliance.
• Ensure compliance and monitoring of ISO 14001, driving environmental actions and energy efficiency.
• Lead the future evolution towards ISO 50001 and ensure alignment with the corporate program initiatives of Liveable Planet.
• Promote continuous improvement through KPI analysis, process optimization, and cost reduction.

You will be the best in this role if you match:

• University degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or similar).
• Consolidated experience in industrial maintenance or logistics, ideally in regulated pharmaceutical and/or chemical environments.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, technical installations, critical utilities, and industrial automation.
• Experience managing in-house teams and suppliers.
• Experience managing engineering projects and CAPEX/OPEX investments.
• Knowledge of FDA and GxP regulatory standards.
• Valuable experience in managing or implementing OT systems and their integration with IT.
• Orientation towards continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and technical excellence.
  Leadership, communication, and cross-functional teamwork skills across multiple areas.
• The position requires on-site presence at the Sant Feliu de Buixalleu (SFB) site; proximity to the workplace will be positively valued due to the operational nature of the role.
• English is a plus.

• Actuar como referente técnico del site, impulsando la evolución tecnológica y la mejora de infraestructuras.
• Liderar proyectos de ingeniería y automatización, proponiendo mejoras orientadas a eficiencia y disponibilidad.
• Participar en la definición, ejecución y seguimiento económico de proyectos CAPEX y OPEX.
• Asegurar el cumplimiento de estándares regulatorios y de calidad propios del entorno pharma.
• Participar activamente en auditorías internas y externas, garantizando documentación, trazabilidad y cumplimiento.
• Garantizar el cumplimiento y seguimiento de ISO 14001, impulsando acciones ambientales y de eficiencia energética.
• Liderar la evolución futura hacia ISO 50001 y asegurar el alineamiento con las iniciativas del programa corporativo de Liveable Planet.
• Promover la mejora continua mediante análisis de indicadores, optimización de procesos y reducción de costes.

• Formación universitaria en Ingeniería (Industrial, Mecánica, Eléctrica o similar).
• Experiencia consolidada en mantenimiento industrial o logístico, idealmente en entornos regulados pharma y/o química.
