Job Summary

We are looking for a Construction Site Foreman for FERROVIAL CONSTRUCCIÓN, S.A. to supervise and coordinate building works, ensuring the correct execution of projects on time, within budget and to quality standards. You will be responsible for managing the construction team and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

* Plan, organize and supervise daily activities on the construction site.
* Coordinate and direct the work team under your charge, assigning tasks and monitoring their performance.
* Control the execution of works according to plans, technical specifications and the construction schedule.
* Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations on site.
* Manage and control the material resources, machinery and tools required for project development.
* Monitor the budget and execution deadlines, reporting any deviations.
* Collaborate with the Site Manager in resolving technical and operational issues.
* Report regularly on the progress of the works and the status of the site.
* Ensure the quality of finishes and the correct execution of each project phase.
* Interpret plans and technical specifications for the correct execution of the works.

Qualifications

* Higher-level vocational training in Building and Civil Works, or an equivalent qualification.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Construction Site Foreman on construction projects, preferably in residential or commercial building.
* Extensive knowledge of construction techniques, materials, measurements and budgets.
* Leadership skills, team management and problem-solving abilities.
* Knowledge and application of occupational health and safety regulations.
* Ability to interpret plans and technical documents.
* Availability to work at different project locations.
* Valid driving licence (B).
* Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Presto, etc.) will be valued.
