We are looking for a Senior Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention to join our construction team in Madrid. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations on construction sites, promoting a preventive culture and minimizing risks.

What you'll do

Functions:
* Implement and ensure compliance with the Health and Safety Plan on assigned construction sites.
* Conduct regular on-site inspections to identify unsafe conditions and substandard practices, proposing corrective measures.
* Investigate workplace accidents and incidents, determining their causes and proposing preventive actions to avoid recurrence.
* Advise site management and personnel on occupational risk prevention regulations and best practices.
* Collaborate in the preparation and updating of risk assessments, as well as in the planning of preventive activities.
* Provide training and information to workers on health and safety in the workplace.
* Coordinate business activities (CBA) with subcontractors, ensuring compliance with their OHS obligations.
* Manage occupational risk prevention documentation (work permits, records, etc.).
* Participate in health and safety meetings and internal communication on prevention.

Requirements

Requirements:
* University degree (Engineering, Architecture, etc.) and a Master's degree in Occupational Risk Prevention covering all three specialties (Workplace Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Ergonomics and Applied Psychosociology).
* 1-3 years of experience as a Senior OHS Technician in building construction, preferably on large-scale projects.
* In-depth knowledge of current occupational risk prevention legislation.
* Ability to identify, assess, and control specific workplace risks in the construction sector.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills to interact with different organizational levels and subcontractors.
* Proactivity, autonomy, and problem-solving skills.
* Availability to travel to different construction sites within the Community of Madrid.
* Valid B driver's license.
