About the role

Job Summary

Reporting initially to the Machinery Yard Manager, you will be responsible for all tasks related to the assembly and operation of machinery, personnel, and related processes: Tunnel. You will initially join the Tunnels Area, being responsible for all machinery, equipment, personnel, and related processes.

Main functions:
•    You will carry out project planning control, machinery, personnel, processes, etc., for the projects in which the PM participates, at a technical and economic level, and liaise with the different departments of the Machinery Yard and works, as applicable.
•    You will supervise, manage, and lead teams of both machinery and personnel, both own and subcontractors, and everything related to execution processes in the Tunnel field.
•    Development of technical and economic reports and studies required for Projects, Procurement, and Company Departments that require them.
•    Compliance with Company standards in Quality and Environment, related to machinery, equipment, personnel, and Tunnel processes.
•    Monitoring of investments, personnel hiring, etc., in the Tunnel Area.
•    Preparation of documentation associated with assemblies and/or development and execution of the activities in which you are involved, and drawings or engineering if necessary.
•    Preparation of the project budget (MASTER, APO, PAS), monthly cost reports, deviation analysis, and implementation of mitigation measures, as applicable.
•    Ensure the highest standards of Health, Safety, and Well-being and maintain a "Safety First" attitude throughout the project.
•    Ensure compliance with company and project requirements, quality, environmental, and energy efficiency standards, and those procedures that lead to continuous improvement of the organization.
•    Collaboration with Project and/or Machinery Yard managers to identify value engineering and process opportunities that will provide cost and/or schedule savings.
 

Requirements

What we're looking for

•    Degree/Master's in Industrial, Mining, or Civil Engineering with experience in machinery and associated processes in the construction company field.
•    Minimum 5 years of experience.
•    Experience in machinery, processes, and related activities, particularly Tunnel.
•    Knowledge in managing all areas of a construction project.
•    Good leadership, communication skills, and experience in managing project teams.
•    Customer orientation.
•    Fluent English is essential.
•    Competent use of operational software such as: Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, CAD programs (AutoCAD, Revit), and specific cost control and management programs.
•    Knowledge of task programming and planning.
•    Experience and training abroad will be valued. 
•    Experience in project management within the Machinery Yard will be valued.
