At Ferrovial we are looking for a Social Security Technician to join the HR Operations team and help us manage Social Security and payroll processes. This will be a key position to ensure that labor and contribution regulations are applied correctly, that information is reliable, and that employees and business areas receive agile, clear, and quality service.
In addition to the more operational side, we want someone with a drive to improve the way we work: someone who questions processes, proposes ideas, helps simplify tasks, and sees technology—including artificial intelligence tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude—as an opportunity to make Personnel Administration more efficient, modern, and future-oriented.
What you'll do
Main responsibilities
- Manage Social Security processes, including affiliation, contributions, collection, social insurance filings, and communications with official bodies.
- Monitor and regularize contribution differences, deferrals, offsets, requirements, and incidents.
- Act as the point of contact with the TGSS, INSS, CASIA, and other related public bodies.
- Understand the full payroll cycle, ensuring compliance with labor, tax, and Social Security regulations.
- Perform controls, reconciliations, and reviews to ensure the quality and reliability of payroll information.
- Provide support and advice to employees, HR teams, and other corporate areas on labor administration and contributions.
- Coordinate incidents and improvements with HRIS teams, vendors, and support areas.
- Prepare reports, indicators, and analyses related to costs.
- Participate in projects to implement and improve Human Resources tools and systems.
- Identify opportunities for simplifying, standardizing, and automating processes.
- Promote the use of artificial intelligence, data analytics, and automation tools to improve operational efficiency.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new digital solutions and best practices within the payroll and personnel administration function.
