About the role

At Ferrovial Construction, we are looking for a Senior Occupational Health and Safety Technician to join our team on major industrial projects in Madrid.

The selected candidate will be responsible for driving, implementing, and supervising prevention policies across different sites, ensuring compliance with current regulations and promoting a strong safety culture.

What you'll do

  • Prepare and update project Health and Safety Plans.

  • Carry out periodic site inspections to verify compliance with preventive and corrective measures.

  • Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, analyzing their causes and proposing preventive measures.

  • Provide training and information to workers on occupational hazards.

  • Coordinate Health and Safety activities with site teams and subcontractors.

  • Advise site management on prevention matters.

What are we looking for?

  • University degree in Engineering, Architecture, or similar.

  • Master's degree in Occupational Health/Hazard Prevention with the three specialties:

    • Workplace Safety

    • Industrial Hygiene

    • Ergonomics and Applied Psychosociology

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in construction.

  • Solid knowledge of current OHS regulations.

  • Driving licence.

  • Good communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.

  • Valuable: English proficiency.
