Job description

We are looking for a Head of Quality to lead the company's quality strategy, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement across all our processes. This person will be key to ensuring the highest standards, promoting a quality culture, and ensuring our products and services exceed our clients' expectations.

Reports directly to the QHSE Director of the IR Group and will perform the duties inherent to the position, namely:

  • Advising and assisting the department management and senior company management in their activities and obligations related to Quality, being one of the main allies in company management;
  • Complying with and enforcing the policies and procedures of the integrated management system in the areas of Quality;
  • Leading processes for the implementation and maintenance of certifications and integrated management systems (IMS), specifically in the ISO 9001 domain;
  • Supervising and responding to internal, external, and Corporate audits;
  • Developing, implementing, ensuring, and supervising Quality policies and procedures;
  • Coordinating the training and awareness of employees in Quality matters;
  • Coordinating the company's activities in Quality matters, and ensuring the follow-up of corrective and preventive actions;
  • Managing and supervising Quality teams on site;
  • Being responsible for and the point of contact with external entities and interested parties in Quality matters – authorities; clients; suppliers; others;
  • Defining, controlling, and supervising Quality-related KPIs;
  • Ensuring strategic alignment with the Corporate level, i.e., in the implementation of policies and procedures, reports, communications, audits, and others, in terms of Quality and legal compliance.
  • Drafting Quality procedures;
  • Drafting Quality Plans, inspection and testing plans, and verification checklists;
  • Drafting Quality-related documentation for projects when applicable;
  • Coordinating the management of non-conformities and opportunities for improvement and other occurrences on site, when applicable;

Requirements

🎓 Education

  • Higher education degree in Engineering and/or Management;
  • Experience in on-site quality, preferably in solar energy, within the civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines;
  • Training and/or experience with ISO 9001;
  • Training in integrated management systems, specifically ISO 9001;
  • Knowledge and/or experience in auditing integrated management systems, specifically ISO 9001;
  • Experience in managing on-site Quality teams, with skills in leadership, strategic management, communication, legal compliance, and coordination of multidisciplinary teams.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Proficiency in Spanish and English;
  • Proficiency in computer tools (MS Office - Word, Excel, and PPT).
