What we're looking for

At DHL Global Forwarding we are looking for a person for our offices in Seville (airport area) who is interested in this sector and who has also completed their formal studies less than 3 years ago (essential requirement for a training contract). A copy of the degree or proof of payment of fees will be required to formalize the contract.

Completed formal studies (essential requirement), preferably in logistics, supply chain, international trade or transport
Strong interest in the sector
Training in international trade or transport and logistics completed within the last 3 years
Full availability
English level B1-B2
Intermediate level of Microsoft Office package
Availability to commute to our offices (airport area)
Native / C2 level of Spanish
Eagerness to learn

The role

What you'll do

What do we expect from you during this one-year training contract?

Control of handling operators' invoices
Physical recovery of import documents
CargoWise management (invoicing, creation of delivery notes...)
Creation of internal reports with arrival operations
Daily control of local transport providers' delivery times
Coordination and transfer of information to customs or other departments.
Control of PODs to be delivered and charged within a specific timeframe
Control and coordination of arrivals.
Control of collections and pending invoices for customs agents when we do not handle the customs clearance
Creation and submission of preliminary claims to airlines
Information requests from the group's export departments
Meeting all assigned KPIs
Filing
Deconsolidation
Distribution of arrivals and handling of pending arrivals
Communication and resolution of incidents
Active control of department costs
Any other additional function related to the position
