What you'll do

  • Manage vehicle maintenance contracts in the corresponding territorial area.
  • Ensure the correct execution of maintenance activities to guarantee the availability of the vehicle fleet, supervising compliance according to current regulations and quality standards, both with in-house resources and at Renfe Ingeniería y Mantenimiento facilities.
  • Define the technical bases for drawing up preventive and corrective maintenance service contracts and accident management.
  • Analyse and validate budgets and tenders, ensuring their suitability and appropriateness.
  • Supervise the technical aspects, progress, guarantees and financial monitoring of contracts, managing their invoicing.
  • Establish, negotiate and monitor the technical indicators of the vehicles in the Renfe fleet to support the invoicing of services provided and recharged.
  • Coordinate with the Operator and the maintainers to develop joint strategies and apply technical improvements and modifications to the vehicles.
  • Supervise the service regarding maintenance incidents, in collaboration with the Operator.
  • Lead the team under their responsibility to achieve the established objectives.
  • Promote and ensure compliance with the Occupational Risk Prevention policy in all activities related to railway maintenance, ensuring the integration of these measures at all hierarchical levels.
  • Implement and support the general policies of Renfe Ingeniería y Mantenimiento relating to financial, technical and human resources management, to achieve the company's objectives.
