Senior Telecommunications Engineer - Tactical Systems (SDR / SATCOM / Networking)

We are looking for someone who understands complex end-to-end tactical communications systems and is able to integrate them, make them work… and improve them.

You will be responsible for the technical integration of advanced tactical communications systems, combining multiple technologies in real operational environments:

• SDR radios
• HF / VHF / UHF communications
• SATCOM systems (military and civil)
• Tactical routing and communications managers

No silos here:
👉 you will touch radio, network, system… and make it all work as one.

• Design and integrate complex tactical systems (not isolated components)
• Define and deploy network architectures (radio + LAN)
• Configure and bring systems online in the field:
  • Tactical HF/VHF/UHF radios
  • Communications nodes / tactical routing
• Design demanding technical tests and validate systems
• Produce documentation that actually works (design, validation, training)
• Participate in technical decisions on European projects
• Contribute to the development of new products
• (If you want to go further) participate in development with Python / scripting

• Real experience with:
  • Tactical radio systems HF/VHF/UHF
  • SATCOM
• Strong command of:
  • Networking / routing (ideally in tactical environments)
• An integrator mindset:
  • Understanding how everything connects, not just your part
• Ability to deal with:
  • Incomplete systems
  • Ambiguous problems
  • Demanding environments
• Availability to travel (when the project requires it)

Buscamos a alguien que entienda sistemas complejos de comunicaciones tácticas de extremo a extremo y sea capaz de integrarlos, hacerlos funcionar… y mejorarlos.

En Indra, te incorporarás a un equipo donde se trabaja con tecnología real, entornos exigentes y proyectos europeos de alto impacto en defensa.

Serás responsable de la integración técnica de sistemas de comunicaciones tácticas avanzadas, combinando múltiples tecnologías en entornos operativos reales:

• Radios SDR

• Routing táctico y gestores de comunicaciones

Aquí no hay silos:
👉 tocarás radio, red, sistema… y lo harás funcionar como un todo.

• Diseñar e integrar sistemas tácticos complejos (no piezas aisladas)
• Definir y desplegar arquitecturas de red (radio + LAN)
• Configurar y poner en marcha sistemas en campo:
  • Radios tácticas HF/VHF/UHF
  • Nodos de comunicación / routing táctico
• Diseñar pruebas técnicas exigentes y validar sistemas
• Generar documentación que sí sirve (diseño, validación, formación)
• Participar en decisiones técnicas en proyectos europeos
• Contribuir al desarrollo de nuevos productos
• (Si quieres ir más allá) participar en desarrollo con Python / scripting

• Experiencia real con:
  • Sistemas radio tácticos HF/VHF/UHF
  • SATCOM
• Buen dominio de:
  • Networking / routing (idealmente en entornos tácticos)
• Mentalidad de integrador:
  • Entender cómo todo conecta, no solo tu parte
• Capacidad para enfrentarte a:
  • Sistemas incompletos
  • Problemas ambiguos

• Disponibilidad para viajar (cuando el proyecto lo requiere)
