About the role

Ingeteam, a leading company specialized in electrical engineering and the development of electrical equipment, motors, generators, and frequency converters, is looking to add a HS Technician to the Health & Safety team at its facilities in Zamudio or Sarriguren.

Mission

To improve the Health and Safety of the activities carried out by Ingeteam at the workplaces where it performs its operations (services, projects, and construction works), through the project management process in the area of Occupational Risk Prevention.

What you'll do

Functions

  • Analyze client requirements for the proper performance of commissioning/after-sales/warranty work.

  • Investigate and analyze national and international legal requirements.

  • Prepare project-specific HS documentation (drafting, editing, monitoring, and filing). This may include Safety Plans, PEP, opening of work centers, etc.

  • Monitor the Preventive Activity Planning related to the Business Unit.

  • Register, track, and update projects through the internal online portal, including the registration of client requirements.

  • Participate in the risk assessment of the activities carried out by the Business Units.

  • Request and provide HS information to contractors and internal employees.

  • Collaborate in the review, from an HS perspective, of work instructions or work procedures.

  • Conduct occasional HS audits of activities at the work centers where the Business Unit operates.

  • Investigate incidents (accidents) occurring within their scope.

  • Develop the specific HSE Standards for the Business Unit within their scope.

What we're looking for

Requirements

  • Intermediate or advanced technician qualification in Occupational Risk Prevention.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in similar roles.

  • English level B2.

  • Interest in learning and in multi-sector technological environments (solar, wind, hydro, naval, industry, etc.).

  • The position requires a methodical, resourceful profile with strong communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience in international projects.

  • Basic knowledge of Integrated Management Systems (ISO 45001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001).
