About the role

Ingeteam, a leading company specialized in electrical engineering and the development of electrical equipment, motors, generators, and frequency converters, is looking to bring on a global planning director to join the team in the C&C Operations Department in Sarriguren (Navarra).

Mission: The role will be responsible for governing the company's global planning, balancing demand, capacity, inventory, and financial objectives.

What you'll do

Among its main challenges, the work related to the following stands out:

  • Leadership of the S&OP process at the industrial network level: Lead and govern the monthly S&OP process, balancing market demand, production capacity, and financial objectives over a 3 to 18-month horizon.

    Decide on aggregate production volume and the allocation of product families to the different plants, generating the aggregate production plan by family and by plant.

  • Coordination between sales, operations, and finance: Convene and lead S&OP process meetings, integrating forecast inputs from Sales & Finance with the actual capacity of the plants, ensuring a single, agreed-upon plan among the three areas.

  • Capacity balancing and production allocation between plants: Decide on production allocation between plants and scenarios for capacity growth or constraints, defining global inventory and customer service policies, in coordination with the Global Planning & Material Management Technical and the Plant Planning Managers at each plant.

  • Governance of the hierarchical planning system and OTD, OTM, and OTRM tracking: Ensure cascading coherence between S&OP, MPS, MRP, and Scheduling, and unify the key indicators (OTD, OTM, OTRM) of the planning process together with the Global Planning & Material Management Technical and the managers at each plant.

Requirements

  • Degree in industrial engineering or similar / Business Administration + Postgraduate degree

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles, including leading planning teams.

  • English level B2 or higher

  • Advanced knowledge and use of SAP

  • Knowledge of S&OP / IBP (Integrated Business Planning), Demand Planning, and Lean manufacturing will be positively valued.
