About the role

We are strengthening our Energy & Renewables team in Spain and are looking for an M&A Analyst - Renewable Assets to join the team in Madrid, with a strong focus on investment analysis for photovoltaic solar assets (PV).

The selected candidate will primarily participate in two types of scenarios:

This is a role with a high analytical and strategic component, focused on investment evaluation, financial modeling, and support in M&A processes within the renewable sector.

What you'll do

  • Acquisition of operational assets:
    Evaluation of purchase price for operational solar plants, financial analysis, scenario modeling, and post-acquisition profitability calculations.
  • Greenfield development:
    Estimation of construction costs (CAPEX) from the initial phase - starting solely from the land -, analysis of economic viability, and projection of future revenues and profits.
