The role

At Intertek we are looking for a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician to join a project on site located in Torrelavega (Cantabria).

The selected candidate will be responsible for performing the required non-destructive tests on welds, materials, and equipment of a biomass boiler, ensuring compliance with ASME standards and established procedures.

How you'll work

The project has an approximate duration of 1 year.

Schedule from Monday to Friday, with working hours from 07:00 to 15:00.

Requirements

Valid certification according to UNE-EN ISO 9712.

Qualification and certification to perform non-destructive tests, including:

Visual Testing (VT).
Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT).
Magnetic Particle Testing (MT).
Ultrasonic Testing (UT).
Industrial Radiography (RT).
Other NDT methods that may be required.

Experience in inspecting welds, materials, and industrial equipment.

Knowledge and application of ASME standards.

Availability to work on site in Torrelavega (Cantabria).
