Mechanical Inspector

At Intertek, we are looking for a Mechanical Inspector to join our team, responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of equipment, structures, and mechanical components during the different stages of manufacturing, assembly, and inspection.

The selected candidate will carry out dimensional and visual inspections, verify compliance with technical specifications, drawings, codes, and applicable standards, supervise manufacturing and welding processes, prepare inspection reports, and collaborate with clients, suppliers, and the technical team to ensure compliance with quality standards.

RM

Technical degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent training.

Certification in welding inspection, welded structures, or related disciplines (for example, CSWIP, AWS CWI, IWI, or other equivalent certifications).

Certification in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Level II, preferably in one or more of the following techniques:

• Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT)
• Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)
• Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
• Industrial Radiography (RT)
• Visual Testing (VT)

• Experience in mechanical inspection of industrial equipment, steel structures, or mechanical manufacturing.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, welding, and assembly processes.
• Interpretation of mechanical drawings, isometrics, and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (ASME, API, ISO, EN, AWS, or others).

Desde Intertek, buscamos un Inspector Mecánico para incorporarse a nuestro equipo, responsable de garantizar la calidad e integridad de equipos, estructuras y componentes mecánicos durante las diferentes etapas de fabricación, montaje e inspección.

La persona seleccionada realizará inspecciones dimensionales y visuales, verificará el cumplimiento de especificaciones técnicas, planos, códigos y normas aplicables, supervisará procesos de fabricación y soldadura, elaborará informes de inspección y colaborará con clientes, proveedores y el equipo técnico para asegurar el cumplimiento de los estándares de calidad.

RM

Titulación técnica en Ingeniería Mecánica, Industrial o formación equivalente.

Certificación en inspección de soldadura, construcciones soldadas o disciplinas afines (por ejemplo, CSWIP, AWS CWI, IWI u otras certificaciones equivalentes).

Certificación en Ensayos No Destructivos (NDT) Nivel II, preferiblemente en una o varias de las siguientes técnicas:

• Líquidos Penetrantes (PT)
• Partículas Magnéticas (MT)
• Ultrasonidos (UT)
• Radiografía Industrial (RT)
• Inspección Visual (VT)

• Experiencia en inspección mecánica de equipos industriales, estructuras metálicas o fabricación mecánica.
• Conocimiento de procesos de fabricación, soldadura y montaje.
• Interpretación de planos mecánicos, isométricos y especificaciones técnicas.
• Conocimiento de códigos y normas aplicables (ASME, API, ISO, EN, AWS u otros).

Incorporación a una empresa con proyectos industriales de alto nivel técnico.

Participación en proyectos nacionales e internacionales.
