About the role

Do you have experience in consulting and are you motivated to help financial institutions transform their business in a constantly evolving competitive environment?
In the FS Strategy & Transformation team, we are looking to bring on a Senior Consultant for our Madrid office.

You will join a growing team, with high client exposure and progressive responsibility from the early stages of projects.

What you'll do

You will contribute directly to the transformation and profitability of the business models of leading financial sector institutions in Spain. You will work on strategy and transformation projects across 5 major areas:

  • Strategy and organic growth: defining strategic plans, ideation, and co-creating growth levers such as new service lines and models.

  • Customer Centric & CX: defining the customer experience strategy, optimizing customer journeys (CJs), and developing plans for acquisition, engagement, and loyalty.

  • Transformation & Digitalization: redesigning and optimizing processes (front/middle/back office), improving operations, and supporting implementation.

  • Disruptive technologies applied to business: use of generative AI, process mining, digital tools, etc., with a focus on evolving towards data-driven institutions.

  • New ways of working: agile, digital workplace, and improving the employee experience.

Additionally, we drive high-interest cross-cutting initiatives: sustainability / ESG and virtual assets & blockchain (VA&B). We work across verticals such as banking, insurance, servicers, Asset & Wealth Management (A&WM), and new entrants.

You will have the opportunity to progressively take on responsibility for workstreams, structure recommendations, and present them autonomously to clients.

What you'll get

You will join a company and a department that is a leader in business consulting in the financial sector, with an ambitious career plan and real opportunities for long-term professional development, working on high-impact projects for the leading market institutions, directly with senior management, in a dynamic and demanding environment.

What added value can we offer you?

  • Projects with leading institutions in Spain, with exposure to senior management.

  • Ambitious career plan, training, and real growth within the team.

  • Dynamic environment, continuous learning, and progressive responsibility.

  • International opportunities and access to a global network of contacts.

  • Continuous training and development tailored to you.

  • Competitive salary and flexible compensation plan.

  • 31 working days of vacation.

  • Your birthday afternoon off.

  • Flexibility and the possibility of remote work.

  • Access to Kteam, our platform for wellbeing, services, solidarity, and discounts.

  • Benefits may vary for scholarship and/or internship programs.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a profile that meets the following requirements:

  • Experience (2-5 years) in consulting (strategy and/or transformation) in banking/insurance and/or equivalent experience in industry in roles related to analysis, planning, transformation, or business development.

  • A degree in Business Administration (ADE), Economics, or Engineering (a postgraduate degree is a plus).

  • Analytical skills (quantitative/qualitative), synthesis, and structured thinking to understand ambiguous needs and turn them into concrete solutions (recommendation + plan + impact).

  • Strong ability to create materials using PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with senior stakeholders (including Management), supporting business decision-making.

  • Autonomy and ownership to lead workstreams/projects, propose improvements, and identify value opportunities for clients.

  • Advanced English (other languages are a plus).

Additionally, you will stand out if you bring knowledge of the financial sector, and/or exposure to data and/or payments.
