About the role

At KPMG Spain, we are strengthening the Global Compliance Management Services (GCMS) area with the addition of a Tax Technology Manager to the People Services team, with solid experience in technology project management, functional analysis, and business process transformation, automation, data management, and systems integration in global and multinational environments. You will work at the intersection of global operations, compliance, processes, and technology, leading automation initiatives, data & reporting for major domestic and international groups, with a special focus on international mobility, global population management, payroll, regulatory compliance, and operational transformation.

What could you do?

As a Tax Technology Manager in People Services, your responsibilities will combine management, functional design, and technology delivery:

  • Leading transformation and automation projects in the tax, accounting, and financial arena (including international mobility processes, global population management, payroll, and cross-border compliance).
  • Define and document functional requirements ("As Is" / "To Be" processes, use cases, user stories, PDD/SDD) for solutions involving:
    • Process automation (RPA, Power Platform).
    • Reporting and analytics (Power BI or other BI tools).
    • Data integration between HR/HCM platforms (Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM), payroll systems, international mobility tools, corporate ERPs, and global compliance solutions. Promote the use of automation and AI technologies (RPA, document extraction, automated validations, data analytics) applied to Tax and Finance (including international mobility processes, employee document management, expatriate data validation, and global compliance coordination), in alignment with KPMG's global solutions.
    • Prepare reports and tracking dashboards (international mobility KPIs, global compliance, operational SLAs, managed population volume, and data quality), for both clients and the internal team.

Knowledge and skills

  • Solid understanding of financial and accounting processes, with valued knowledge of international mobility, payroll, expatriate management, global compliance, and regulatory reporting related to individuals.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Business Central, etc.) and HR/HCM and payroll platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, ADP, NGA/Alight, or other equivalent solutions.
