A leading fashion Retail company with a strong presence in the Iberian market, operating over 100 stores across Spain and Portugal, is looking for a Finance Business Partner Southern Europe (focused on the Iberian market).

What you'll do

  • Act as a strategic Finance Business Partner for Southern Europe (Iberia), driving business performance through fact‑based insights and strong stakeholder engagement.
  • Lead and continuously improve financial planning methodologies, processes, and tools, including budgeting and forecasting cycles.
  • Coordinate the annual budget process and rolling forecasts, actively driving corrective actions and alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Monitor, manage, and challenge Company CAPEX, ensuring disciplined, value‑driven investment decisions.
  • Develop, co‑create, and challenge business cases for new initiatives, defining KPIs, benchmarks, and thresholds, and ensuring disciplined execution and follow‑up.
  • Administer and track the portfolio of business initiatives, ensuring their financial impact is reflected in plans and forecasts and that delivery meets targets.
  • Analyze sales, gross margin, and key business KPIs by product, region, and store, identifying risks and opportunities typical of fashion retail dynamics.
  • Deliver transparent monthly reporting, variance analyses, scenario analyses, and ad‑hoc deep dives to support business performance discussions.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for growth, efficiency, and value creation, challenging the status quo and proposing concrete improvement initiatives.
  • Support and influence key National and International stakeholders across Commercial, Business Styling, Real Estate, Logistics, and Business Planning functions.

The profile is a senior Finance Business Partner who acts as a strategic and proactive business advisor. The role requires a strong business mindset combined with solid financial expertise, with the ability to influence decision‑making, drive change, and support sustainable and profitable growth in a fast‑paced fashion retail environment.

The ideal candidate is a business‑oriented finance professional with 8-10 years of finance experience in Retail/Fashion industries, capable of translating complex financial information into clear, actionable business insights and partnering closely with key stakeholders across Iberia and International environments.

Hybrid working model with up to 50% remote work.

Office location: Northern Madrid area.

SAP is a must.

Requirements

  • Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or similar.
  • 8-10 years of experience in Finance Business Partnering, Controlling, or related roles, in Retail.
  • Strong business mindset with solid financial expertise (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, KPIs).
  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, CAPEX, and strategic planning.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Analytical, proactive, and performance‑driven profile with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English; French is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel skills; SAP (FI & CO) experience required.
  • Strong command of BI, analytics, and planning tools (e.g. SAP BW, Tableau, Anaplan, or similar).
  • Digital and data‑driven mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
