About the role

Technology is radically transforming the business world. At KPMG, we help companies and society respond to the challenges of the new era of disruption, and we anticipate trends through knowledge, innovation, and investment.

Are you finishing your degree? Would you like to have an unforgettable internship experience? We are launching our internship program for STEM talent for October 2026!

What does our internship program offer?

The KPMG Tech Program is designed to give you a unique experience, learning in an environment led by innovation and digital transformation.

You will have the opportunity to choose the area that interests you most, making this an unforgettable experience, where you will learn in a technological environment alongside the best professionals, working on international and enriching projects, with the best working atmosphere.

Innovation, technology, digitalization, big data analysis... these are all present in many of the solutions we offer our clients.

The selection process will be held in in-person format in Madrid in early July. It will feature a very special theme, where technology and teamwork will be the protagonists.

KPMG has made cybersecurity one of its strategic pillars. Multidisciplinary professionals collaborate within our global network to provide services covering all key aspects.

Cybersecurity involves equipping oneself with robust systems capable of acting before, during, and after an event. Not only to prevent, but also to increase the confidence of clients and the market, minimizing any reputational risk that could have a significant impact on the business.

Having solid cybersecurity systems is not an option today. It is a requirement from everyone: consumers, investors, regulators, and society as a whole. And its management must involve all areas of the organization.

The Cybersecurity team focused on Digital Identity works on the management and protection of identities and access within organizations, ensuring that only authorized users can access critical systems, applications, and data. Its main functions include user, credential, and key management, as well as defining and controlling permissions and access to information. Additionally, the team participates in the design and implementation of security policies and processes, ensuring that access is managed efficiently and under principles such as least privilege, thereby helping to reduce risks and strengthen information protection.

What do you need to know?

  • Academic background: Computer Engineering, Software Development, Telecommunications, or similar. A Master's degree in Cybersecurity is valued.
  • Knowledge of Java or Python programming; or cybersecurity tools such as Sailpoint, ForgeRock, IdentityIQ, or PingIdentity
