About the role

From Marlex we are looking for a Production Coordinator for the Operations team of a growing food industry company, committed to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Ensure the proper functioning of production lines, guaranteeing safety, quality, and efficiency standards, meeting daily schedules, and leading the team's development.

What you'll do

  • Coordinate and supervise daily production on site.
  • Manage shift work teams (assignment, follow-up, and development).
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) and food safety (HACCP) regulations.
  • Supervise start-ups, shutdowns, and product/format changeovers.
  • Monitor production KPIs (efficiency, waste, yield).
  • Detect issues and implement immediate corrective actions.
  • Train and develop the team (onboarding + ongoing coaching).
  • Ensure quality self-checks and documentation.
  • Collaborate with other departments (quality, maintenance, R&D).
  • Propose continuous improvement initiatives in production processes.
