About the role

We are looking for a dynamic, proactive Site Manager with solid experience in the comprehensive management of construction projects (residential, hotel, or civil works) to join our team in the Canary Islands.

You will be the person with overall responsibility on site, handling planning, resource optimization, cost control, and compliance with deadlines and quality standards, while always ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as the specific environmental regulations of the archipelago.

What you'll do

  • Management and Planning: Plan, organize, and supervise the technical execution of the project from start to finish, coordinating internal teams and subcontractors.
  • Cost Control: Manage the assigned budget, monitor costs, control deviations, process monthly certifications, and negotiate with local and national suppliers.
  • Logistics and Insularity: Coordinate the purchase and storage of materials, taking into account the management of delivery times derived from the insularity (maritime transport, customs/DUA, etc.).
  • Quality and Safety: Ensure compliance with the Health and Safety Plan, as well as the project's Quality Plan.
  • Institutional Relations: Represent the company before the technical management (Dirección Facultativa), the client, safety coordinators, and local public bodies (City Councils, Island Councils, etc.).

What you'll get

  • Contract: Permanent contract offering job stability.
  • Compensation: Competitive salary consisting of a fixed base (depending on experience and qualifications) plus a bonus package tied to project objectives (deadlines, quality, and profit margin).
  • Benefits: Company car / transportation allowance, latest-generation technological tools (tablet/laptop), and ongoing training plan.
  • Start Date: Immediate.

Profile Requirements

  • Education: Degree in Technical Architecture, Building Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years working as a Site Manager. Previous experience in the construction sector in the Canary Islands (especially in residential projects or hotel renovations/construction) will be highly valued.
  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the Spanish Technical Building Code (CTE) and familiarity with the specific urban and environmental regulations of the Canary Islands (e.g., Directrices de Ordenación General, local waste management regulations).
  • Digital Tools: Proficiency in construction management software such as Presto, AutoCAD, MS Project, and Microsoft Office tools (advanced Excel). Knowledge of BIM environments will be positively valued.
  • Soft Skills: Leadership skills, results-oriented mindset, strong negotiation skills, ability to resolve conflicts under pressure, and excellent communication skills.
