About the role

At Marlex, we are collaborating with a multinational company in the food sector, located in the northern area of Baix Llobregat, which currently needs to add to its team an Electrical and Automation Maintenance Technician with knowledge and experience in PLCs.

What you'll do

What will your mission be in the company?

• Perform diagnosis, location, and repair of faults, mainly electrical ones.

• Carry out preventive maintenance according to the maintenance plan.

• Verify the correct operation of auxiliary plant equipment.

• Collaborate with other departments when required: in spare parts warehouse management and in production during shift changes.

• Verify the correct operation of auxiliary plant equipment.

• Maintain the proper condition and organization of maintenance tools and facilities.

• Comply with occupational health and safety standards, food safety and hygiene standards, and company-established work procedures.

What we're looking for

• You have a Higher Degree (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior) in Electromechanics, Electricity, or a similar field.

• You have extensive knowledge of electricity and automation systems.

• You have knowledge and experience working with PLCs.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as an electromechanical technician in industrial maintenance is highly valued.
