Your main objective is to provide practical support in the identification, evaluation, and control of occupational risks present in the services and facilities of your area, implementing preventive measures and ensuring compliance with legal regulations to ensure a safe working environment and strengthen the culture of prevention within the organization.

In your functions, you must always follow the principles of:

Main responsibilities:

• Provide support in workplace risk assessments, as well as hygienic, ergonomic, and psychosocial measurements, additional technical reports, and control and follow-up visits.
• Assist in the regular supervision of preventive activity in assigned services, ensuring the effective implementation of preventive measures.
• Advise on Health and Safety matters, labor inspections, committee meetings, and coordination of business activities, ensuring that contracts comply with current legal regulations, following the guidelines set by the company and the specifications of the ISO 45001 standard.
• Provide support in accident and incident investigations, especially investigations of significant accidents and occupational diseases within your area of responsibility, identifying root causes and formulating recommendations.
• Participate in audits included in the annual health and safety plan, with the aim of ensuring compliance with the guidelines established in the company's Management System.
• Help develop and deliver training courses on Health and Safety.

Main interface

• Internally: Operations, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Administration and Finance, Human Resources, other Merck sites.

Education and knowledge:
