Your main objective is to provide practical support in the identification, evaluation, and control of occupational risks present in the services and facilities of your area, implementing preventive measures and ensuring compliance with legal regulations, to ensure a safe work environment and strengthen the prevention culture within the organization.

In your duties, you must always follow the principles of:

Main responsibilities:

• Provide support in workplace risk assessments, as well as hygienic, ergonomic, and psychosocial measurements, additional technical reports, and control and follow-up visits.
• Assist in the regular supervision of preventive activities in the assigned services, ensuring the effective implementation of preventive measures.
• Provide advice on Health and Safety matters, labor inspections, meetings with committees, and coordination of business activities, ensuring contracts comply with current legal regulations, following the guidelines set by the company and the specifications of the ISO 45001 standard.
• Provide support in the investigation of accidents and incidents, especially significant accidents and occupational diseases within your area of responsibility, identifying root causes and formulating recommendations.
• Participate in the audits included in the annual health and safety plan, with the aim of ensuring compliance with the guidelines established in the company's Management System.
• Help develop and deliver training courses on Health and Safety.

Main interface

• Internally: Operations, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Administration and Finance, Human Resources, other Merck sites.

Education and knowledge:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
• Master's degree in Occupational Risk Prevention covering all three specialties: Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics, and Occupational Safety.
• Intermediate English (B1). Used at a technical level, both oral and written.
• Proficient in office software at a user level.
• Training in ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 50001 standards.
• Results-oriented, with strong motivation to meet goals and efficiently manage daily tasks.
• Training in conducting audits is a plus.
• Knowledge of GMPs is a plus.

Tu objetivo principal es brindar apoyo práctico en la Identificación, evaluación y control de los riesgos laborales presentes en los servicios e instalaciones de tu área, implementando medidas preventivas y garantizando el cumplimiento de la normativa legal, para asegurar un entorno de trabajo seguro y fortalecer la cultura de prevención en la organización.

En tus funciones siempre debe seguir los principios de:

Principales responsabilidades:

• Dar soporte en las evaluaciones de riesgos del centro de trabajo, así como mediciones higiénicas, ergonómicas, psicosociales, informes técnicos adicionales y visitas de control y seguimiento.
• Ayudar en la supervisión regular de la actividad preventiva en los servicios asignados, asegurando la implementación efectiva de medidas preventivas.
• Asesorar en materia de Seguridad y Salud, inspecciones de trabajo, reuniones con comités y coordinación de actividades empresariales, garantizando la adecuación de los contratos a la normativa legal vigente, siguiendo las directrices marcadas por la compañía y las especificaciones de la norma ISO 45001.
• Dar apoyo en las investigaciones de accidentes e incidentes, especialmente las investigaciones de accidentes significativos y enfermedades profesionales dentro de su área de responsabilidad, identificando causas fundamentales y formulando recomendaciones.
• Participar en las auditorías contempladas en el plan anual de seguridad y salud, con el objetivo de garantizar el cumplimiento de las directrices establecidas en el Sistema de Gestión de la compañía.
• Ayudar a elaborar e impartir cursos de formación en materia de Seguridad y Salud.

Formación y conocimientos:

• Licenciado en Medio Ambiente, Biología, Ciencias Químicas, Farmacia, Ingeniería o Ingeniería Química.
• Máster de Prevención de Riesgos Laborales en las 3 especialidades de Higiene, Ergonomía y Seguridad.
• Inglés intermedio B1. Utilización a nivel técnico, de comunicación oral y escrita.
• Ofimática a nivel de usuario.
• Formación en normas ISO45001 e ISO14001 e ISO 50001
• Orientado a resultados, con fuerte motivación para cumplir metas y gestionar eficientemente las tareas diarias.
• Valorable Formación en la realización de auditorías
• Valorable conocimientos de GMP´s
