The company develops, builds, finances, manages, and operates high-quality renewable energy projects in multiple countries. Its portfolio includes 2.6 GW (1.3 GW in operation and more than 1.3 GW ready to build or under construction), with a total development pipeline exceeding 18 GW.

We are currently looking for a Senior Asset Manager to support our Asset Management team in the management of our projects in Spain and other European countries.

What will you do?

  • Supervise and execute debt drawdowns, debt service payments, and distributions to sponsors, ensuring full compliance with financing agreements.
  • Drive the optimization of project cash flows, liquidity management, and dividend distribution strategies across the portfolio.
  • Lead waiver requests, negotiations with lenders, and amendments to financing agreements, acting as the main point of contact with banks, investors, and financial advisors.
  • Ensure compliance with reporting obligations arising from financing agreements and key commercial contracts, including PPAs and other relevant agreements.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, KPIs, and covenant ratios to banks, investors, and management.
  • Lead the control, analysis, and critical review of project revenues, costs, and budget variances, proposing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Review and validate financial statements, audit deliverables, and statutory reporting at both SPV and portfolio levels.
  • Manage the issuance, renewal, and monitoring of financial guarantees, bonds, and other project security instruments.
  • Act as the overall responsible party for the asset, with end-to-end accountability for financial performance, cross-functional coordination, and long-term value creation.
  • Support and coordinate with lenders on project hybridization initiatives involving battery energy storage systems (BESS), assessing financial impacts, covenant implications, and value optimization opportunities.
  • Identify and lead strategic initiatives aimed at improving revenues, optimizing operations, and maximizing long-term asset value.

Who are you?

  • University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Between 5 and 7 years of proven experience in asset management, project finance, infrastructure, or the renewable energy sector.
  • Solid experience managing SPVs, project finance structures, lender reporting, and covenant compliance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel and financial modeling; strong PowerPoint and reporting skills are also essential.
  • Solid knowledge of financial statements, cash management, and budgeting processes.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with banks, investors, advisors, and senior management.
  • Analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Critical thinking, decision-making ability, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to act as the business owner of the asset, coordinating multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience working in cross-functional environments alongside development, construction, environmental, legal, and O&M teams.
  • Proactive mindset, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and constantly evolving sector.
