Job Description

Job Requirements

Will you help us solve the biggest engineering challenges?

At Quest Global, we develop engineering and technology solutions across the entire product lifecycle, enabling our clients to tackle major challenges in the aerospace and defense, automotive, energy, high-tech, rail, and semiconductor sectors. We are over 23,000 people in 20 countries, passionate about innovation and committed to making the world a better place, pushing boundaries every day to make the seemingly impossible possible.

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR DAY-TO-DAY?

• Conduct technical studies and develop procedures for the activation of commercial software used in command, control, and simulation systems, ensuring compatibility with operational infrastructures, compliance with environmental constraints, and proper application of licensing policies established by each manufacturer.

• Provide technical support in the analysis and planning of the distribution of new custom software versions, evaluating operational environment conditions, upgrade options, version compatibility, and risks associated with implementation.

• Analyze incidents reported by end-users during the software deployment phase, identifying recurring patterns, determining root causes, and proposing technical or procedural solutions for resolution and prevention.

• Collaborate in defining and executing functional and integration test protocols, and in drafting technical manuals and user guides to facilitate software logistics management (distribution, updates via SIGLE, and operational activation).

• Develop technical studies focused on managing the obsolescence of COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) equipment in inventory, including the analysis of the lifecycle of hardware, software, and firmware components, and renewal strategies in accordance with manufacturer specifications.

• Analyze the technical and documentary information required for the proper receipt of COTS software and firmware, determining the specific procedures for each manufacturer (download portals, technical documentation, certificates, and integrity verification).

• Explore and evaluate technological alternatives, both software and hardware with embedded firmware, to ensure compliance with system accreditation requirements and provide technical, operational, or maintenance advantages over current solutions.
