Job description

At POLICLINICA GIPUZKOA we are looking for a candidate available for immediate incorporation to cover a position as Patient Experience Informer. A full-time contract is offered to cover sick leave. Shift work.

What you'll do

Functions:

-Welcoming and helping patients with self-admission at the kiosks, as well as helping with any procedures related to them: printing reports, certificates, etc.-Basic information on how our hospital's services operate and how to access them. Patient guidance.-Specific information about the center and its range of services.-Specific information for private patients or those of an equivalent category.

-Information about the Patient Portal. Help with downloading, explaining how the app/website works, and managing incidents.-Guiding the patient or family member on any questions they may have.-Performing basic general information tasks about the services.-Informing and facilitating administrative procedures related to the Emergency Department, such as admissions, appointment management, or others.-Carrying out in-person non-clinical information duties.-Monitoring the flow of admissions and discharges to provide timely information at all times.

-Patient reception, giving priority to healthcare assistance.-Verifying that the patient has provided their email and is registered on the Patient Portal; if not, informing the patient about the application, handling the procedures with admissions to collect the email, and generating the registration.--Accompanying family members to hospitalization units whenever necessary.-Monitoring the flow of patients and family members in patient waiting rooms.-Controlling care times, delays, patient and family member queries, and real-time monitoring of the situation and location of patients in the Emergency Department.

-Reviewing test delay times.-Contacting the laboratory or radiology service if the time for any test falls outside the expected range.

Requirements

Intermediate vocational training (FPGM) in the administrative branch or similar.

Previous experience in customer/patient service.

High level of Basque; English is valued.
