What are we looking for?

A person to join the Welfare team at HQS Palmaplanas to carry out the role of Translator - Interpreter for the hospital, with the aim of translating and interpreting for the foreign patient in accordance with the grammatical rules and current translation and interpretation guidelines of the patient's vehicular language, so that the patient receives all the information they need regarding both healthcare and non-healthcare matters, with the ultimate goal of providing excellent service.

What for?

To translate and interpret orally for medical staff and other healthcare personnel when they address the foreign patient or vice versa, to ensure that patient and medical staff understand each other when discussing health status, diagnosis, and interventional/therapeutic guidelines, etc., necessary for the patient's improvement.

To inform and guide the foreign patient and their family members, through any form of in-person contact or by email, in order to address any questions they may have regarding both healthcare and non-healthcare matters, in cases where the legal authority to obtain medical information is established. Regarding telephone information and guidance, only on general topics related to the operation of insurance, companies, or Clinic services.

To support non-healthcare staff in explaining how insurance generally works, to request deposits from foreign patients, to explain budgets to them, to contact foreign insurance companies, to send reports, and to request payment guarantees, in accordance with the regulations applied by the Quirónsalud Group, with the Company being responsible for compliance with the regulations regarding Data Protection.

To translate and interpret, when required, at events organized at the Hospital such as guided tours, conferences, outings, talks, etc.

¿Qué buscamos?

Una persona que se incorpore al equipo de Welfare de HQS Palmaplanas para que lleve a cabo la función de Traductor - Intérprete del hospital, con el objetivo de traducir e interpretar al paciente extranjero conforme a las normas gramaticales y pautas actuales de traducción e interpretación del idioma vehicular del paciente, con objeto de que éste reciba, toda la información que precisa tanto del ámbito asistencial, como no asistencial, con el fin último de prestarle un servicio excelente.

Te buscamos a ti si te gusta trabajar en equipo, si tienes vocación hacia el paciente, y si te comunicas de forma efectiva con los pacientes, familiares, compañeros y supervisor.

¿Para hacer qué?

Traducir e Interpretar oralmente a los facultativos y al resto de personal asistencial cuando se dirijan al paciente extranjero o viceversa con objeto de asegurar que paciente-facultativo se entienden mutuamente cuando hablan sobre el estado de salud, el diagnóstico y las pautas interventivas / terapéuticas, etc… necesarias para la mejora del paciente.

Informar y orientar al paciente extranjero y sus familiares, en cualquier forma de contacto presencial, o por mail), con objeto de responder a las dudas que puedan tener tanto de aspectos asistenciales como no asistenciales, en casos en que esté acreditada la potestad legal de obtener información médica. En cuanto a información y orientación telefónica solamente en temas genéricos de funcionamiento de seguros, compañías o servicios de la Clínica.

Apoyar al personal no asistencial en la explicación del funcionamiento de seguros en general, pedir depósito a los pacientes extranjeros, explicarles los presupuestos, contactar con las compañías aseguradoras extranjeras, mandar informes y solicitar garantías de pago, de acuerdo con la Normativa aplicada por el Grupo Quirónsalud, siendo la Compañía responsable del cumplimiento de la Normativa referente a Protección de Datos.

Traducir e interpretar, cuando sea requerido, en los eventos que se organicen en el Hospital como visitas guiadas, conferencias, salidas, charlas, etc.

Experiencia de al menos un año en traducción

Imprescindible idioma alemán e inglés a nivel alto / bilingüe

Titulación similar a Traducción/Intérprete

Habilidades excepcionales de comunicación y empatía.

Capacidad para trabajar en entornos de alta presión y manejar situaciones emocionalmente intensas.
