We are looking for a Systems Administrator to join a highly demanding technology project in Albacete, providing services to a world-leading end client in aeronautics. What you'll do

Manage and maintain virtualization environments based on VMware and Proxmox, including the creation, configuration, and deployment of virtual machines and containers.

Administer and ensure the proper functioning of operating systems in mixed environments (Windows Server and Linux).

Develop, optimize, and maintain scripts in PowerShell and Python to automate routine processes and monitoring/integration tasks.

Configure and manage network electronics, especially Cisco switches (VLANs, basic routing, and perimeter security policies).

Handle and resolve second- and third-level incidents escalated through the Help Desk system.

Prepare and keep technical documentation, procedure guides, and system policies up to date.

Coordinate with technology vendors and international teams to resolve issues and implement improvements.

Requirements

Education: Higher Level Training Cycle (FPII) in Network Systems Administration (ASIR), Computer Engineering, or Telecommunications.

Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of demonstrable experience in similar systems and network administration roles in corporate environments.

Essential Technical Skills:

Advanced administration of Windows Server and Linux distributions.

Proficient handling of VMware and Proxmox in production environments.

Ability to develop scripts in PowerShell and Python.

Configuration and management of Cisco switches (VLANs, basic routing, security).

Languages: Intermediate-advanced English (fluent enough to read technical documentation and communicate with international vendors).
