Waiter/waitress on the coast

We are recruiting a Waiter/waitress to join the team of a newly opened restaurant in La Herradura. If you are looking to work in a renewed environment, with quality products and a prime location on the Costa Tropical, we want to meet you!

• Attending, welcoming, and accommodating guests with professional and friendly service.
• Taking orders (using the POS system or electronic ordering device) and advising on the menu and daily specials.
• Serving food and drinks at the table, ensuring efficient service and proper dining room protocol.
• Setting up, preparing, and clearing tables, ensuring the cleanliness and presentation of the dining room and terrace.
• Handling guest billing and managing the cash register at the end of the shift.

• Valid Food Handler's License.
• Skills: Excellent customer service, attention to detail, dynamism, empathy, and teamwork.
• Languages: A medium level of English (or other languages) is valued, given the tourist influx in the area.
• Residence in La Herradura, Almuñécar, Nerja, or nearby areas (or own vehicle / ease of travel).

Schedule: Full-time with rotating shifts (split or continuous, depending on the rota), with weekly rest days as required by law.

• Atención, acogida y acomodación de los clientes con un trato profesional y cercano.
• Toma de comandas (manejo de TPV o comandero electrónico) y asesoramiento sobre la carta y sugerencias del día.
• Servicio de bebidas y platos a mesa asegurando agilidad y protocolo de sala.
• Montaje, acondicionamiento y desbarasado de mesas, velando por la limpieza y presentación del salón y terraza.
• Cobro a clientes y gestión de caja al final del turno.

• Carné de Manipulador de Alimentos en vigor.
• Habilidades: Excelente atención al cliente, orientación al detalle, dinamismo, empatía y trabajo en equipo.
• Idiomas: Valorable nivel medio de inglés (u otros idiomas) dada la afluencia turística de la zona.
• Residencia en La Herradura, Almuñécar, Nerja o zonas cercanas (o vehículo propio / facilidad de desplazamiento).

Jornada: Completa a turnos (partidos o continuos según cuadrante), con los descansos semanales fijados por ley.
