About the role

What you'll do

Your duties in this position will be:

Team Management and Training:

  • Train and welcome new hires, ensuring their proper adaptation and knowledge of all platform processes (receiving, put-away, picking, dispatch, etc.).
  • Manage the staff under your supervision following the Shift Manager's guidelines and adapting the team to the service needs.
  • Lead by example with professional behaviour and motivate the team to achieve quality and performance targets.
  • Communicate changes in daily operations to the team clearly and effectively.

Operations and Quality Supervision:

  • Ensure the team's tasks are carried out correctly, including receiving merchandise (dry goods, perishables, frozen items, etc.), its proper put-away, and order preparation (picking).
  • Ensure the quality of the work performed, confirming that orders are prepared correctly, all products are recorded, and each shipment is labelled for its corresponding store, thereby minimising issues and returns.
  • Comply with and enforce company regulations, especially regarding Safety and Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL), as well as good hygiene and quality practices.
  • Follow up on new improvements in procedures to optimise resources and improve efficiency.

Support and Communication:

  • Act as the right hand and main support of the Shift Manager.
  • Report any issues and conflicts that may arise on a day-to-day basis to the Shift Manager.
  • Report any relevant incidents to your superiors immediately.
  • Ensure a proper handover of information about the service status to the Shift Manager before the end of the shift.
  • Monitor the proper condition of the facilities and machinery.

Requirements

Your requirements for the position will be:

  • Education: Intermediate computer skills.
  • Languages: Spanish.
  • Experience: Previous experience in logistics environments, especially in order preparation (picking) with a variety of products, will be highly valued.
  • Availability: To work rotating morning, afternoon, and night shifts, from Sunday to Friday.
