About the role

From the Randstad Skilled Trades division, we are looking for a Welder/Boilermaker with experience in reading blueprints and mastery of welding (TIG, Electrode and Wire) who wants to join a highly qualified team and consolidate their career in a specialized industrial environment. What you'll do

Technical interpretation of blueprints for the manufacturing and layout of boilermaking parts (special pieces such as breeches, elbows, inserts, reducers, etc.).

Manufacturing and assembly of complex metal structures such as platforms, hoppers, trestles and industrial piping.

Execution of welding with high quality standards using TIG, coated electrode and continuous wire (MIG-MAG) techniques.

Material preparation, beveling and dimension adjustments prior to welding.

Occasional collaboration in assembly and pre-assembly tasks both in the workshop and supporting fitters at end-client facilities when required.

Compliance with safety regulations and Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL) in the workshop.

Requirements

Education: Intermediate Vocational Training / Advanced Vocational Training

Knowledge: TIG welding, Electrode and Wire / Blueprint reading

Experience: 2 - 3 years

Intermediate or Advanced Vocational Training in Welding and Boilermaking, Mechanical Manufacturing or Industrial Maintenance.

Proven mastery and experience in interpreting boilermaking and structural blueprints.

Demonstrable practical experience in TIG, Electrode and Wire welding.

Skill in developing and manufacturing piping (elbows, breeches, etc.) and metal structures (hoppers, platforms).

Self-sufficient person, quality-oriented and with a willingness to work in a team and provide occasional support in assembly.

Holding current welding certifications and training in Occupational Risk Prevention (Metal PRL) is highly valued.
