At Randstad, we are looking for a Purchasing Technician to join directly a recognized multinational company, a leader in its sector, located in the Gironès region (Girona). What you'll do

As part of the Purchasing Department, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Sourcing and negotiation: Searching, researching, and negotiating with international suppliers (Spain, China, Tunisia, Portugal, etc.) and analyzing supply conditions.
  • Cost and raw material management: Continuous analysis of raw material prices and control of suppliers' operational capacity.
  • Planning and orders: Managing purchase orders (local, group, and import) and documenting the follow-up of operations.
  • Stock and subcontracting management: Controlling internal stock and stock at subcontractors, as well as handling displays.
  • Issue resolution: Managing and resolving issues arising from the purchasing process.
  • KPI monitoring: Meeting departmental key performance indicators and tracking market news.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher-level vocational training (FP) in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, and Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience performing similar functions within an industrial controlling or supply chain environment.
  • Languages: Proficiency in Catalan/Spanish and fluent English (minimum B2) for dealing with international suppliers.
  • IT/Tools: Intermediate to advanced level in Excel and basic office tools. Prior experience with SAP ERP and IBP (Integrated Business Planning) is highly valued.
  • Residence: Residing in the province of Girona.
