About the role

We are currently looking for a Shift Leader for our Celrà plant.

Mission: To directly oversee production across shifts in the assigned area. You will be responsible for the manufacturing of pharmaceutical products at the plant and for the proper maintenance of facilities. You will organize tasks and allocate staff based on production needs and the manufacturing plan, coordinating and supervising plant activities while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

What you'll do

Main Responsibilities

  • Supervise and provide technical support for production processes in the area.
  • Ensure compliance with timelines, quality, safety, and production performance.
  • Manage operational documentation (batch records, cleaning logs, EBR, SAP).
  • Coordinate the shift team: task assignment, follow-up, and staff training.
  • Ensure order, cleanliness, and compliance with GMP, safety, and quality standards.
  • Monitor the condition of facilities and coordinate corrective maintenance.
  • Track the production plan and report it in Preactor.
  • Participate in audits, incident investigations, and new technical implementations.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, process optimization, and digitalization.
  • Act as the emergency response leader in the PAU and collaborate on HAZOP studies when required.

Requirements

  • Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • B2 level of English.
  • Previous experience in similar roles and in team management, preferably in the chemical-pharmaceutical sector.
