About the role

Are you passionate about electronics, robotics and 3D printing? Are you looking for a cutting-edge work environment where you can share your technical knowledge without needing to be the lead teacher?

If you have great people skills, love being surrounded by innovation and are looking for a fixed afternoon schedule with an unbeatable holiday calendar... this is the ideal place for you!

What you'll do

As an Automation and Workshop Technician, your mission will not be to teach classes (this is not a teaching position), but to be the indispensable technical support in the classroom/workshop. You will work hand in hand with teachers and students, taking care of:

-Providing technical and operational support in the use of robotic arms and automation systems.

-Assisting in the automation area.

-Configuring, preparing and maintaining electronic and mechatronic equipment for daily practical sessions.

-Interacting constantly with the teaching team and students, technically guiding them in the use of the machinery.

What you'll get

-Stability: Permanent contract from day one.

-Salary: €28,000 gross per year, comfortably distributed in 12 payments.

Exceptional rest calendar:

-22 working days of holiday. (The centre closes for the two central weeks of August, with the possibility of taking the full month off).

-Christmas closure: No work from 24 December to 1 January.

-3 personal days per year.

-Easter: 2 additional rest days after completing one year of service with the company.

How you'll work

-Fixed schedule: Monday to Friday, afternoon shift from 12:30 to 20:30.

Requirements

To fit into this project, we are looking for a profile that is eminently technical (electronics/automation), not a traditional vehicle mechanic, and with excellent interpersonal skills:

-Training: Higher Level Vocational Training (FP) in Mechatronics, Automation and Robotics, or similar.

-Technical knowledge: Solid foundation in electronics and handling of robotic arms. Experience in 3D printing and modelling will be highly valued.

-Social skills (Soft Skills): Having excellent social skills, patience and communication ability to move comfortably among teachers and students is an essential requirement.

-Mobility: A car and driving licence are required to access the facilities in Alcorcón (the bus connection does not stop near the centre).

You'll most likely need Spanish to apply. This job was automatically translated to English, .
