At Rhenus, we are looking for a European Freight Tender to join our International team.

Your mission is to analyze logistics projects and bidding processes in order to provide tactical and strategic solutions for regional and global logistics activities, ensuring consistency and alignment with corporate directives and local/regional requirements. The main objective is to win business through bidding proposals that offer solutions and are aligned with client and corporate requirements.

Key responsibilities:

- Manage Request for Information (RFI).
- Analyze Request for Quotation (RFQ).
- Prepare digital support materials.
- Ensure compliance with assigned Compliance controls and procedures.
- Gather evidence of the compliance and effectiveness of assigned Compliance controls and procedures.
- Coordinate with other countries or business units, if necessary, to complete the request.
- Establish direct contact with the client (ask/answer questions, provide more details, deadlines, shipment types...) with the aim of strengthening the relationship.
- Prepare cluster summary/analysis (pivot table) with the analyzed information.
- Verify attached documents to check compatibility with our corporate directives or provide an alternative solution. (Fuel conditions, payment terms, insurance, penalties, vehicle types, required equipment, certificates, etc.)
- Organize documents and calendars to make them accessible to others via internal connections.
- Determine rates using the available calculation tool.
- Validate prices with the involved branches.

What You Bring:

Requirements:

- Degree or formal training in Transport and Logistics, Foreign Trade, International Trade, or similar.

- Office Suite at user level. (desirable)

- Knowledge of transport and commercial and negotiation skills.

- Minimum of 6 months of experience in similar roles (desirable).

- Fluency in communicating in English.
