We are currently looking to hire an Installations Technician - Electrical and Low Current Systems Area in Madrid, who shares our commitment to quality, responsibility, and excellent service.

What you'll do

- Value Engineering for the improvement and optimization of projects.

- Review and supervision of projects carried out by external engineering firms of:

- Electrical installations carried out by external engineering firms, at all voltage levels (VLV, LV, MV, HV).

- Low current systems (Access Control, CCTV, fire detection and alarm, signaling, networking, and structured cabling)

- Control and automation (BMS, lighting control, HVAC control)

- Carrying out electrical engineering work such as: single-line diagrams, electrical calculations, flow and short-circuit studies, lighting, grounding network, measurements, drafting of narratives (reports, specifications, technical documents, etc.)

- Preparation of technical specifications and supporting documentation for requests for quotations for electrical and low current equipment.

- Review of the different bids submitted by suppliers at a technical level and preparation of technical comparisons for the selection of the supplier or subcontractor. Coordination with the purchasing department.

- Follow-up during the construction phase.

- Support for commissioning and start-up of the installations.

- Attendance at technical meetings with clients, suppliers, and interdepartmental meetings, with leadership capability within the scope of their duties 

What we're looking for

- A multidisciplinary engineer is required with experience in leading installation projects, with strong expertise in electrical and low current installations (HVAC, CCTV, networking, fire detection and alarm, etc.).

- An industrial engineering degree is required (Industrial Engineering, ITI/Degree in electricity, electronics, telecommunications, etc.).

- Experience in installation projects for critical infrastructures (hospitals, data centers, airports, museums, tunnels, industry...)

- Teamwork is required, as interaction with the other technical specialties of the projects is necessary (civil, architecture, mechanical, etc.).

- Work on shared servers (i.e., SharePoint) is required. Work on local hard drives will not be permitted.

- Attention to detail, organized work, and analytical capacity for electrical and low current design are required.

- Availability to travel nationally or internationally for short periods of time to provide support to projects and construction sites is required.

- Communication skills with a technical focus are required during meetings with clients, suppliers, and interdepartmental meetings.
