What you'll do

Mission:

Ensure the subdomain delivers with quality and on schedule, maintaining the technical health of the applications under their responsibility and professionally developing each team member.

- The subdomain supports the systems that manage the full policy contracting lifecycle, the product catalog, and integrations with distribution channels - including agreements with strategic distribution partners. Your main duties will be:

People and team management

- Organize the subdomain's work by assigning tasks according to each person's capacity and skill level.

- Support team growth: provide regular feedback, identify strengths and areas for improvement, and agree on individual development goals.

- Detect and address misalignment, lack of motivation, or underperformance directly and constructively.

Demand and planning management

- Gather and plan the subdomain's demand - evolutions, corrections, and incidents - escalating any need for priority reordering to the Domain Manager.

- Estimate efforts and commit to realistic timelines with the team.

- Keep the demand status updated and report it proactively.

Project leadership

- Take operational responsibility for planning, tracking, and delivering projects executed within the subdomain.

- Coordinate team resources and work with external vendors, overseeing their deliverables and quality of service.

- Report progress status and incidents to the Domain Manager and in the established follow-up forums.

Monitoring and escalation

- Track progress on commitments and escalate any blockers, risks, or deviations that cannot be resolved within the subdomain in a timely manner.

- Support the Domain Manager in liaising with the business for the subdomain's applications.

Technical and operational quality

- Maintain visibility over technical debt and execute the agreed action plan to address it progressively.

- Ensure development practices (code quality, testing, documentation) are applied consistently across the team.

- Oversee BAU maintenance and channel business support.

What do you need?

- Management and tracking methodologies (agile and/or traditional)

- Familiarity with project and demand management tools (Jira, MS Project, or similar)

- People management and team development

- Ability to communicate with both business and technical profiles

- Upper-intermediate English

- University degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or similar
