The Digital Energy and Home Solutions business of Schneider Electric develops integrated solutions that combine building services with intelligent automation systems. Our mission is to be the digital partner for sustainability and efficiency in the built environment. We are looking for a KNX Commercial Specialist for Madrid, focused on business development in key building segments (retail, hospitality, offices, healthcare, education, and premium residential), leading the adoption of KNX solutions within the Digital Energy and Home Solutions ecosystem. You will be responsible for developing commercial opportunities, driving the specification of KNX solutions, and consolidating relationships with integrators, engineering firms, specifiers, and end customers. You will contribute to positioning Schneider Electric as a leader in building control based on open standards. Responsibilities: Develop and manage long-term relationships with KNX integrators, engineering firms, developers, and end customers in Madrid. Identify and develop opportunities in building projects within target segments (offices, retail, hospitals, hotels, etc.). Drive the specification of KNX solutions in the early stages of projects. Map key accounts, including decision-makers, influencers, and specifiers. Manage the opportunity pipeline, ensuring growth in sales and margins. Prepare offers, technical proposals, and commercial presentations tailored to each customer. Collaborate with internal teams (specification, marketing, technical, channel) to maximize commercial efficiency. Lead the full commercial process: from demand generation to project closing. Promote the value proposition of EcoStruxure Building and its integration with KNX. Contribute to the development of the EcoXpert channel and KNX partners in Iberia. Analyze market trends and identify new opportunities in building automation based on open standards. Job requirements: Technical education (Engineering, higher vocational training, or equivalent) in automation, electrical, or similar fields. Solid B2B sales experience within the building automation or KNX sector. Deep knowledge of the KNX standard (KNX certification will be highly valued). Experience in building segments: offices, retail, hospitals, hotels, etc. Commercial skills: negotiation, presentation, and sales closing. Ability to influence specifiers and work in multi-stakeholder project environments. Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to generate trust with customers. Knowledge of control solutions (HVAC, lighting, BMS) and their integration. Familiarity with standards and certifications: ISO 50001, LEED, BREEAM, WELL, EPBD, SRI. High level of English for business environments. High autonomy, proactivity, and results orientation. Availability to travel (~40%). Buscamos un Comercial especializado en KNX para Madrid, enfocado en el desarrollo de negocio en los principales segmentos de edificios (retail, hospitality, oficinas, sanidad, educación y residencial premium), liderando la adopción de soluciones KNX dentro del ecosistema de Digital Energy y Home Solutions. Serás responsable de desarrollar oportunidades comerciales, impulsar la especificación de soluciones KNX y consolidar relaciones con integradores, ingenierías, prescriptores y clientes finales. Contribuirás a posicionar a Schneider Electric como líder en control de edificios basados en estándares abiertos. Responsabilidades: Desarrollar y gestionar relaciones a largo plazo con integradores KNX, ingenierías, promotores y clientes finales en Madrid. Identificar y desarrollar oportunidades en proyectos de edificios dentro de los segmentos target (oficinas, retail, hospitales, hoteles, etc) Impulsar la especificación de soluciones KNX en fases tempranas del proyecto. Mapear cuentas clave incluyendo decisores, influenciadores y prescriptores. Gestionar el pipeline de oportunidades asegurando crecimiento en ventas y márgenes. Preparar ofertas, propuestas técnicas y presentaciones comerciales adaptadas a cada cliente. Colaborar con equipos internos (prescripción, marketing, técnico, canal) para maximizar la eficiencia comercial. Liderar el proceso comercial completo: desde la generación de demanda hasta el cierre del proyecto. Promover la propuesta de valor de EcoStruxure Building y su integración con KNX. Contribuir al desarrollo del canal EcoXpert y partners KNX en Iberia. Analizar tendencias de mercado y detectar nuevas oportunidades en automatización de edificios basados en estándares abiertos. Requisitos del puesto: Formación técnica (Ingeniería, FP superior o equivalente) en automatización, electricidad o similar. Experiencia sólida en ventas B2B dentro del sector building automation o KNX. Conocimiento profundo del estándar KNX (certificación KNX será altamente valorada). Experiencia en segmentos de edificios: oficinas, retail, hospitales, hoteles, etc. Habilidades comerciales: negociación, presentación y cierre de ventas. Capacidad para influir en prescriptores y trabajar en entornos multiparte (ecosistema de proyecto). Excelente capacidad de relación y generación de confianza con clientes. Conocimiento de soluciones de control (HVAC, iluminación, BMS) y su integración. Familiaridad con estándares y certificaciones: ISO 50001, LEED, BREEAM, WELL, EPBD, SRI. Nivel alto de inglés para entornos de negocio. Alta autonomía, proactividad y orientación a resultados. Disponibilidad para viajar (~40%).
