We are looking for a KNX Commercial Specialist for Madrid, focused on business development in key building segments (retail, hospitality, offices, healthcare, education, and premium residential), leading the adoption of KNX solutions within the Digital Energy and Home Solutions ecosystem. You will be responsible for developing commercial opportunities, driving the specification of KNX solutions, and consolidating relationships with integrators, engineering firms, specifiers, and end customers. You will contribute to positioning Schneider Electric as a leader in building control based on open standards. Responsibilities: Develop and manage long-term relationships with KNX integrators, engineering firms, developers, and end customers in Madrid. Identify and develop opportunities in building projects within target segments (offices, retail, hospitals, hotels, etc.). Drive the specification of KNX solutions in the early stages of projects. Map key accounts, including decision-makers, influencers, and specifiers. Manage the opportunity pipeline, ensuring growth in sales and margins. Prepare offers, technical proposals, and commercial presentations tailored to each customer. Collaborate with internal teams (specification, marketing, technical, channel) to maximize commercial efficiency. Lead the full commercial process: from demand generation to project closing. Promote the value proposition of EcoStruxure Building and its integration with KNX. Contribute to the development of the EcoXpert channel and KNX partners in Iberia. Analyze market trends and identify new opportunities in building automation based on open standards. Job requirements: Technical education (Engineering, higher vocational training, or equivalent) in automation, electrical, or similar fields. Solid B2B sales experience within the building automation or KNX sector. Deep knowledge of the KNX standard (KNX certification will be highly valued). Experience in building segments: offices, retail, hospitals, hotels, etc. Commercial skills: negotiation, presentation, and sales closing. Ability to influence specifiers and work in multi-stakeholder project environments. Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to generate trust with customers. Knowledge of control solutions (HVAC, lighting, BMS) and their integration. Familiarity with standards and certifications: ISO 50001, LEED, BREEAM, WELL, EPBD, SRI. High level of English for business environments. High autonomy, proactivity, and results orientation. Availability to travel (~40%).
